I’ll be putting my most recent design work on this page. It should give you a general overview on the type of work I’m capable of.
Jonathan Elliman Design is a new business so this website will only show projects that I’ve completed for this business or, before that, as a freelancer.
If you’d like to look at some of my previous work then please visit my profile on Behance, or take a look at Soda’s website. I was their senior designer up until the end of May 2013.

Website design, Perch CMS, copywriting
I’ve been building John Debnam’s tennis website since the late nineties. John is a tennis coach in Los Gigantes, Tenerife.
Now in its fifth iteration, we’ve added responsive design features for mobiles and tablets, tidied a link-heavy and tired front page, ditched the horrible old Joomla CMS and switched to the lovely, lightweight Perch CMS. The site took just over a week to design and build.
The client is really happy with it. I haven’t had to show him how to use the admin control panel, something that cannot be said for other CMS’s. He just understood it straight away. The CMS is so easy to use, it’s a big thumbs up for Perch!
Sherwood Event Services
Logo design, brand guidelines
This is an example of a simple branding project for Sherwood Event Services, an exhibition services business based in Surrey.
We explored several design routes, ending with this floating monolith device. I then designed several iterations with different copy inside the shape and this was the approved version.
Branding, website design, Wordpress CMS, illustration
Street food is at the cutting edge of cuisine in the UK at the moment, and none more so than Dosa Deli, a new business offering delicious dosas, a type of pancake, filled with delicious vegetarian curries and chutneys.
I developed a brand for them using hand drawn lettering. I used photographs the owners took while trekking through India as inspiration for the colours and the type. I also built them a website using Wordpress and drew some cute little illustrations, including a Dosa Deli branded tuk tuk and blackboard recipe cartoons.
Branding, stationery, packaging, website holding page
HL Pharma is a wholesaler of veterinary and human pharmaceuticals. I’d worked with them on a previous Veterinary medicine eCommerce site.
I developed their brand, including a holding page and stationery and designed some concept packaging for a new veterinary medicine.
Branding, website design, Shopify template development, t-shirt design
I worked on this lovely project creating the branding for a new urban sports clothing business.
As well as developing the branding, I designed several t-shirt concepts for their launch range. I built their online shop using Shopify, a really nifty hosted eCommerce platform.
Sadly the project is no longer live as the business owner is now working on another project overseas. More of the designs can be viewed on GogoDojo’s Behance project page.
Website design, ExpressionEngine CMS, copywriting
This website was a freelance project from 2010 for my friends over at Soulful Creative.
I designed and built their Soulful Gallery website in just two weeks using ExpressionEngine CMS, allowing the client to manage the content of the website. The website included a blog – allowing individual artists to post articles, an events diary, art gallery and membership functionality.
La Grange Bouvére
Website design, Wordpress CMS
A freelance project from 2009: A website designed and built over a weekend.
This Wordpress-powered website had a simple gallery system and live link to an availability calendar. This site is no longer functioning as the chalet has been sold.
